Planning a wedding might seem a little overwhelming at first, but it really doesn't need to be!
It will be one of the happiest days of your life, so make sure you enjoy the lead up to it too.
You've probably started looking into potential wedding venues, or may have even booked your dream venue and have your wedding date set? (Doesn't it feel good to tick something off the to-do list?!) You're now looking into the other main elements of your day...flowers, food, the dress, photographer? That one I can help with! Here is a little bit about how I work...
How I work
My style can be described in two words - natural and fun! I work in a way that captures moments naturally without disturbing anyone. When there are times that need some direction (groups shots!) I work with people in a way that gets the job done quickly so that everyone can go back to enjoying their day. I prefer capturing your guests candidly, often without them even realising they have been photographed. Providing a genuine record of your day, natural images are often everyones favourites because they are real and unposed.
When it comes to couples shots I will take you off for some time together, and capture you interacting as newlyweds in a relaxed way. With minimal posing and a sense of humour we will create some beautifully romantic portraits of you that you will treasure forever.
I have a team of fabulous photographers that I regularly employ to work alongside me capturing alternative angles of special moments as well as parts of the day that I may not be able to cover. For example they are able to cover Groom prep while I am photographing the bride getting ready. They can photograph from the back of the ceremony while I capture beautiful close up images at the front. They mingle with your guests, capturing the candid moments throughout your drinks reception while I take you off for your couple's shots. Read more here
One hour photoshoot, taking place before your wedding at a venue of your choice. Ideally this would be at your wedding venue giving us the opportunity to scope out the best spots to use on the day. Most importantly it provides the opportunity to learn to relax in front of the camera, removing any awkwardness on your wedding day. A lot of people feel uncomfortable when the camera is on them (me included!), so I use this session to get to know you, put you at ease and give you an idea of what to expect on the big day itself.
An added benefit is that you can then use the images as part of your day! (slideshow, signing frame etc.)
Additional hours coverage can be added to any of my collections at £200 per hour.
So how much is all of this awesomeness going to cost you?
If you like my style and think that I would be a good fit for your day then I would love to meet for a chat about your plans! If local we can meet for a coffee, or arrange to chat via Skype if easier. If after chatting you decide that you would like to secure my services then I will send you a contract/booking form which can be completed online. I also require a £250 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due six weeks prior to your wedding date.
