Why do I need a Second Photographer?

As we are now in the thick of wedding season I thought I would share some of the reasons I encourage all of my couples to think about adding a second photographer to their day.

Two perspectives of the ceremony.

When working with one of my second photographers I tend to work up at the front with you, positioning them at the back of the ceremony. Covering both angles provides variety for your album and captures both views to look back on for years to come.

These were taken at the lovely Andy & Laura's wedding, held at the Olde Bell in Hurley. The first image taken by me from the front, with the second shot by Maya from the back of their beautiful barn ceremony.

Both Bridal and Groom prep covered.

I LOVE covering Bridal prep, spending time with you while you and your girls get ready. Capturing the excitement, the details, the DRESS!

While I'm with the girls, a second photographer can be capturing the Groom beforehand. This can be getting ready at the hotel, or enjoying a quick pint in the pub! Or simply at the Church, like these ones of Ian taken by the lovely Shelley.

Moments like these are ones that you wouldn't otherwise see of each other, but needn't be missed!

Lovely natural, candid shots of your guests

There are times throughout the day that you may miss seeing what your guests are up to; once they are seated waiting for you to walk down the aisle, while we are off doing your couple shots.

With a second photographer these are moments that you needn't miss out on, as they will be busy snapping away often without anyone noticing them!

So if you want a complete and full coverage of your day I definitely recommend a second photographer. One is already included in Collection I, but can also be added to collections II and III. Pop me a message to chat more about my fabulous second photographers, and why you need one of them for your wedding day!
